Course open, no ride on buggies, preferred lies, winter rules. (updated 23 March at 06:28)

In the Autumn of 2017 the 200 Club members agreed that for the benefit of all Eaton golfers we should replace the shoe cleaning compressor this winter and were happy to fund this purchase.  The course committee and Gavin had built this into their 2018 business plan and kindly brought this forward.  Gavin researched a suitable replacement which has twin motors and considerably more capacity than the replaced machine.  The new compressor has now been in place for most of the winter and was paid for by the course committee.

The 200 Club then turned their thoughts to the practice net and in discussion with the course committee agreed that spending money to improve that facility would be well received but was unlikely to be included in budgets in the foreseeable future.  The 200 Club members agreed unanimously that this would be a good use of our funds and the course committee and Gavin’s team are now working to improve and extend the practice net facility.

New members to the 200 Club are always welcome.  50% of funds are distributed in monthly cash prizes and occasional bonuses.  The remainder is used for Eaton projects which we think will improve our enjoyment of Eaton membership but do not come into the category of normal club budgetary requirements.  If you are not a member and would like to join, this can be done by giving a cheque for £60pa to Kerry made out to “Eaton Golf 200 Club” or to pay by internet banking to code 60-40-08 account 32921926
